Business Services Group
The group provides the information technology, human resource, financial and other support frameworks that enables the Office to operate efficiently and effectively. The group provides project and administrative support to other groups. The group is the gateway for all correspondence coming into and out of the Office and is responsible for coordinating the receipt of correspondence, tracking the progress of correspondence through the system, monitoring correspondence trends, reporting on correspondence performance, and preparing responses where appropriate. This group is also responsible for the Office's outward communications including internet and printed publications.
The client services team has oversight of correspondence management systems, manages data and reporting on the Office's correspondence and complaints about councils. The team provides project and administrative support to other groups and manages the Office's switchboard services and customer interface.
The finance and business services team manages systems and processes that support human resources, finance management, corporate records, procurement, fleet, building and accommodation services. The team administers financial assistance, companion animals and pensioner rebate payments to councils.
The information communications and technology team supports the Office's ICT systems, including internet and intranet services, database management systems, records and document management, data and survey collection management and telephony and data network services.
