Companion Animals Regulation 2008 Review Consultation
The Companion Animals Regulation 2008 is made under the Companion Animals Act 1998 to support the operation of that Act by providing key information about how pet cats and dogs (companion animals) are identified, registered and managed in NSW.
Consultation with stakeholders is critical to inform the development of regulations to assist the Government to thoroughly understand impacts and ensure the benefits of regulation outweigh the costs.
How to complete
Please refer to the draft Regulation and Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) when completing the feedback form. The RIS provides an assessment of whether the benefits of the draft Regulation outweigh the costs associated with compliance, and economic, social and environmental impact.
You can respond to all or selected proposed changes. Comments are limited to 300 words. The feedback form is able to be downloaded for printing if you wish to post or email your response.
