Lifetime Achievement Award 2016

Patricia Gould OAM

Clr Patricia Gould was first elected to Albury City Council in 1974 and has contributed enormously over the past 42 years in an broad range of roles including as Mayor from 1996-99; again between 2000-04 and 2008-09.

She was awarded an OAM for her service to the community and local government and is a recipient of a ‘Paul Harris Fellow’. Clr Gould was instrumental in establishing Albury Family Day Care and has also dedicated many years assisting the Upper Murray Regional Library. She is also a Life member of three swimming clubs; the Ovens and Murray District Swimming Association and three community groups.

Patricia’s dedication and passion have made a great impression on the community and her fellow Councillors and she has helped shape the City of Albury into what it is today.

Patricia was nominated by the Mayor of Albury City, Clr Henk van de Ven.
