Justine is the Manager, Education and Care Services, at Campbelltown City Council. Her strong leadership skills, professionalism, commitment, inspiration and enthusiasm have a profound influence on the success of Council’s Education and Care Services, and Council as a whole.
Justine leads a team providing services in areas of high need and disadvantage. Her ability to manage a diverse portfolio of largely off-site services is highly respected. She is committed to ensuring that she is accessible to staff, and maintains open communication and ensures staff feel valued.
Justine’s vision and commitment to leadership and excellence saw the Amarina Early Learning Centre receive an ‘Excellent’ rating in the National Quality Framework of the Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority – the first in NSW, and the first for a Local Government service.
Justine has built strong working partnerships with NGOs, training bodies and others resulting in effective programs and innovative services benefitting the community.
Justine is working to create a culture of excellence, and aims to empower emerging leaders to develop skills that prepare them for succession opportunities.
Justine has a ‘can do’ attitude of optimism, inspiring those around her to strive to succeed. She is in demand as a mentor, formally and informally, including working with mentees in other countries and from across the local government sector.
