Sharon provides guidance and inspiration through leading by example. She has seen many projects through to fruition, and strives for staff improvement, providing resources and encouragement to improve. Sharon sees opportunity and ability, and strongly encourages open and honest communication and respect. She encourages staff to share resources and information, learn new skills and embrace new technologies.

Sharon manages a team of predominantly men. Regionally she is the only female manager with a portfolio including airports, stores and workshops, administration and swimming pools.
