Suzanne Flynn, Penrith City Council
Suzanne is the Chief Rates Clerk at Penrith City Council and was previously employed as a Rates Manager at the City of Sydney for 13 years.
Suzanne is an Executive member and the Secretary of NSW Revenue Professionals Society Inc. She has been a speaker and organiser for many of its annual conferences and is currently the training coordinator for the Society. Suzanne is considered an expert in annual Notional and Permissable Yield calculations and has provided assistance to local government professionals.
Suzanne oversaw the implementation of the introduction of a new communication tool for the Penrith Council Rates Team. In 2009, she successfully implemented the latest scanning technologies to the City of Sydney Council to streamline the rates process.
Suzanne has been a mentor in the Women in Leadership program where she inspired her mentee to progress to a supervisory role. She continues to share her knowledge, encouraging attendance at LGMA Women’s Opportunity Network days and Penrith’s internal Gender Equity Program.
Suzanne was nominated by Ms Inna Skougarevskaya from the City of Sydney Council
