Information for General Managers
All complaints about a breach of the code of conduct standards are made to the General Manager, with complaints about General Managers to be made to the Mayor.
General Managers deal with code of conduct complaints relating to staff, delegates and council committee members.
General Managers are encouraged to resolve less serious complaints about councillors informally. Where this is not possible, complaints can be referred to an independent conduct reviewer for assessment and resolution and, where they are serious, investigation.
