The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) has three new Accounting Standards to be implemented this coming financial year. To provide additional assistance to councils, the Office of Local Government (OLG) is running a series of half-day Facilitated Implementation Discussions via Skype from the 6th-9th of April 2020.

These sessions aim to support council finance staff in their roles relating to accounting and financial reporting. This series of workshops will be delving into the detail of the new accounting standards on Revenue (AASB 15 and AASB 1058) and Leases (AASB 16).
